You don’t need a diagnosis to start Occupational Therapy. If you’ve noticed any of these signs, it might be time for a closer look:
Struggles with zippers, buttons, or holding cutlery
Avoids messy play, loud places, or certain textures
Gets overwhelmed or upset in new environments
Always on the move, or always passive
Difficulty sitting still, focusing, or following instructions
Delayed milestones (writing, drawing, using both hands together)
Seems clumsy, bumps into things, or falls often
Has trouble calming down or shifting between activities
Trouble with schoolwork, copying from the board, or writing neatly
Every child develops differently. OT helps bridge the gap gently, with the right support, at the right time.
